Both the light and laser are plenty bright. Battery life is better than I expected, just don't lose the proprietary charging cable! Great packaging, just what I've come to expect from Holosun. Very robust construction, but too soon to tell if it's duty grade. This thing is big and heavy, like a school bus on the gun, but that's what I wanted on my home defense/ranch gun. My only complaint is the lack of positive engagement of the switches, particularly the upper ones that operate the light in dual mode. Very little tactile feedback, but your mileage may vary. It is, after all, a budget friendly piece of kit, and a good value overall.

Geissele Super Dynamic Enhanced Trigger
I buy Geiselle SSA-E triggers whenever I find them on sale. Never spent more than $150 on one. This one has the same advertised pull weight and it was around $160, so I thought I'd give it a try in my new .308 build. I felt confident purchasing this because of all my prior experiences with Geissele, and the price was acceptable to me. Love the two stage format, and Geissele has always delivered in the past. Thanks to OP for a good deal. Can't wait to finish this rifle and put in some trigger time. My only complaint was that part of the deal was free 2 day air shipping, which I couldn't figure out how to apply to the order, so although shipping was free, it took a week to arrive. Not the end of the world, as I'm still in the preliminary phase of the build, and it may have been an oversight on my part, just sayin'.

Another great product from Eotech at an unbeatable price from Optics Planet. The XPS2 may lack the QD feature of the XPS3 and only be submersible to 10 meters vs 30 meters, and lack NV capability, but it still performs flawlessly, as I have come to expect from Eotech. The two dot system works as advertised and the legendary bulletproof reliability, along with the unbeatable deal from Optics Planet made the decision to put this on my 8" truck gun build an absolute no brainer.
