Light weight, secures .750-1” lights. This is only the piece that secures holds the light. You will still need to get the mounting piece to attach to your rail, they make several different types of mounts that can attach to this piece.

If you are looking at this, you know what it’s for: integrated dual switch (one for PEQ & one for surefire light). Plugs into the current surefire tail caps snugly. The 7 in this model is for inches of cord length (compared to the 9 model), which gave me plenty of length on my shorter rail. Switches work great. Switch’s polymer design snaps down on the rail with a decent amount of force but stays on snug without any looseness.
