Noveske Action Buffer Spring, Rifle
I just need to replace a buffer spring. This one did the job and the price was right. Installed just fine, function tested exactly as expected, and has been working ever since. No issues with the product or construction.
Didn't even bother me that it was a Noveske product.

KAK AR-15 Configurable Buffer Kit
So I'm one of those weirdos that got a ks47 from PSA and I've been tuning that bish since day one. I got this kit to tune the buffer and get it a little softer and more manageable. It's pretty ok for that - it works with a lot of trial and error. Because I'm tuning for 7.62x39 I ended up using a lot of weight but there's plenty of options to tune lighter weights/calibers. I found the kit to be very 'complete', and would recommend it for anybody trying to fine tune their AR or AR-style build. Decent piece of kit, and decently priced.

Pretty much every AK should have this.

KNS Precision Adjustable Gas Piston System
This is a no-brainer. Every AK should have one of these installed. You'll think to yourself "but I kinda like how mine works, it's not actually that bad, it's not super over-gassed..." and that's cool. But then you'll shoot an AK with the KNS piston installed and you'll catch fire from ordering one so fast. The difference is yuge, and it's real. It will have more effect on some than others, so keep that in mind - barrel length, etc is going to play a part.
Oh, and installation can be a little bit scary, but it's actually pretty easy to do with simple hand tools. Tuning it can be a bit of a pain, and take a lot of trial and error, but once it's tuned you're good to go.
All told, hands down, I would consider it a must-have accessory for the discerning AK guy.

They're p-mags, for better or worse, but definitely better.

They're p-mags. So, they're pretty great. Are they the best? Mmmmm they're polymer so they're light and pretty durable but they're hardly indestructible. They work. And they're generally inexpensive. They're p-mags! Spend a bit more and get a few metal ones for consistency in feeding and tuning the feed lips, I guess, but I've never had any real issue with these. The only reason I won't give the full 5 stars is because - in theory at least - metal AICS patterned magazines are better. That being said, if you're looking for functional mags that are just going to work and you're not looking to spend over a hundred dollars per magazine.... these are the ones.
