Magpul Quality Is Worth It

The sling is a bit on the pricy side, but when comparing my other slings to it, it's clear that the Magpul is well worth the extra money. The components are superior and the ease of fit and function are near perfect. Works well in a few configurations for my 6' 235 lbs frame. The ranger green color is dark and looks great!

Big Difference - Huge Improvement

I'm extremely happy with this Magpul handguard and the matching vertical grip that now rides on my Colt (6520). After the past 5 years with an oversized and mostly useless quadrail setup, this has improved the handling and grip 100 fold! Well made and looks awesome too.

I really like this grip and would love to give it 5 stars. The only thing that keeps me from doing so is really a fitment issue with my hands. The top of the grip is super skinny and my larger hands wrap around and it's not as comfortable as it could be if they made it as wide as the middle to lower section of the grip. Overall, it is well made and looks great on the gun.

I've tried many different grips on my AR pistols and this is by far the best. It's angled perfectly for a compact setup with a short barrel. The design and construction is solid and the texture is just enough without being abrasive.

Overall, the ambi safety is nicely machined and designed with a few options to choose from when installing. However, the finish was poorly done and required me to reparkerize prior to installation. After the install, I was pleased with the smooth action and function. While I do recommend this kit, the price should guarantee a little more QC before leaving the shop.
