Replacement Batteries an issue

Review for
Garmin PT 10 Dog Device - Electronic Collar
I bough a pair of these at the same time just over a year ago, and one of the two collars goes dead hours before the other. Both collars get used for about the same amount of time.
The one that goes dead early also has a noticeably more yellowish green light when it’s in use. I’ve also noticed that the range has decreased over time too. I’m sure I just got a Lemmon.
One of the “features” Garmin mentions about this model is a user replaceable batter, what they don’t mention is that you can’t actually get a replacement (that I’ve been able to find), or for a reasonable price if similar Garmin batteries for other products are to be compared ($45ish dollars is a ripoff).
I do like the design over-all, but frustrated with quality and availability of a replacement battery.
