Cool look, poor fit, mags hang up without file work

Bought 2 of these, one for me and one for a friend. Have only installed mine, so I might have gotten a bad one.
Looks good but the fit is bad. After a 30 second install I slammed a mag in and went to work. It does a great job feeding the mags in, but the issue comes with trying to drop mags….they hang up a bit.
After further inspection the magwell did not sit flush with the frame (tried it on 2 different gen 5s and had the same fit) and it overhangs the inside of the magwell on the frame. I emailed their customer service and they said that was normal because not all the polymer frames are exactly the same. I’m guessing glock has pretty good QC, but decided to take a needle file and sandpaper to the piece to make it functional.
Works fine now, but still not happy with the fit even after an hour of work. It does look cool but for what I paid for it I expected perfection, I would not recommend.
