You would be surprised how much your scope turns when torquing down some scope mounts. It removes any doubt of being off. Just 1% is 1”@1000, and yours eyes can’t pick that up.
It has a lot of grip from the aggressive texture. I like it better than the magpuls. Maybe the only downside is no storage compartment? But I don’t use the magpul ones anyway. It’s a grip and does grip things.
You will need to install the mag catch after attaching the action and chassis. They made it 10x easier than the factory stock with pins to hold the spring. They send a mint for you to enjoy while you assemble.
The Ruger model requires you to put the magazine catch in after attaching to the action. They made it easy with pins to hold the spring. It is 10x easier to install this mag catch than the standard one the Ruger American comes with. They also included a mint, and I had finished installation before i finished the mint haha.
The 1.35 are atleast 1/4" too tall for a Vortex Diamondback 6×24 on a Ruger American with factory rail. You can see the bubble level with your off eye without moving. No screws stripped so over all, check what height you need and these will be a decent bargain.
If your like me, not a gunsmith, and think this will be as easy to install like glock compnents that need minor fitment adjustments, pay to have a gunsmith to it. I messed it up. Maybe its just because I tried to put it in a kimber, but now ill have to buy another one and pay to have it installed.
Square rear sight notch, ledge for one handed slide manipulations. Orange dot really helps with front sight focus and small tritium rear dots. I replaced my XS sights with these and won't go back. Springfield XD9 4"
