Fit and installed just like described. Nice small narrow hand guard. Not bulky at all. Rail matched right up with one on upper receiver. Looks like factory fit. Sure it may not be a free float. Yet the cost was not half of a free float. If you are on a budget and need a rail to hang stuff off of. This may fit the bill.

If you need a QD in a different position and location. Than maybe your factory sling attachments on your rifle. For picatinny rails. Then this is a great product. Used on a Blue Force Vicker's two point tactical sling. To balance out sling. Being able to adjust for optics if needed. Just by moving sling attachment up and down rail. Allows rifle to hang at the ready position. Or it just gives you another attachment point.Strong,light weight, tightens tight, with no wobble at all.

Fit perfect on two DPMS lowers. No problems. No fit issues or sanding or tools.I think if you have a Mil Spec name brand lower you are good to go. Took about 5-10 minutes on each one to install. Shipping was fast. Great packaging to protect product. Easy to open packaging.
