This optic does approach the quality of nor is it as easy to use as the NXS riflescope. I realize that this is an "entry level" Nightforce product but I expected better. This was purchased to use on a Tikka T3X TAC A1. The parallax adjustment is on the objective (muzzle end of the rifle). Making adjustments was cumbersome and cannot be easily done while looking through the eyepiece. After this experience, I much prefer the side parallax adjustment. The yardage markings (suggestions) for the parallax were not even close to the actual distances at the range. I never felt that the scope was clear or well focused. Front eyepiece moved every time the protective caps were removed and constantly had to be reset and refocused before shooting. Overall, I was disappointed and returned to Optics Planet for the 8-32x56 NXS.
