Needs quality control

First let me say I love faxon barrels this is my 3rd one but there is an issue on quality here for a 250 dollar barrel. Scratches, rust on the locking lugs, the tines on the flash hider were not cut evenly each one is a different length. But on the good side it did fit perfectly and does group nicely. Just wish I spotted the imperfections before I installed it and broke the barrel in. But they are just cosmetic issues and the Finish on the lugs would have worn off over time anyway. Just dissatisfied with both faxon for letting this get through and for opticsplanet for not looking over a part before shipping it out.

Low cost but still has quality machining does great as a compensator and even better as a flash hider. Despite what others may say you do need to index this comp, there's a broader uncut portion that faces down.

Great for those who have a light weight hand guard with a lot of cutouts but don't want the reflection from a normal stainless steel gas tube showing through. Fit and finish is great didn't get any blow by using with faxon MGB.

Detent button sticks

Like the way it looks,polymer construction is nice so it doesent mar my billet lower, only complaint is that the detent sticks down. I've had to take it apart a few times to unstick it and have sence lubed it up, it works fine now
