Defective latch / Too much Loctite

This rail looks good in preview images but in reality it has some major issues. First, when I received mine the latch was improperly assembled which prevented it from opening, making the rail impossible to install. The second issue is the obscene amount of Loctite used on the screws. There is so much that it is visible on the exterior of the rail even from a distance, leaking out around the edges of every screw, of which there are many. This gives the rail a tacky look, and also made it virtually impossible to disassemble the rail and correct the issue with the latch. Strike makes some cool products but they really needs to work on their quality control.
