These are excellent rings, especially for a high recoil application. They are made from sintered steel, which is on par in hardness and strength to billet and in many ways has better characteristics to forged or cast steel, especially when heat comes into play.

HOWEVER, be sure to lap these rings before installing your scope. Mine had significant high spots that needed worked out. Not a show stopper, but if you want to protect your scope, lap these rings.

Secondly, if you are installing these on a flat top AR, be aware that the largest scope you will be able to fit using the high rings is a 46mm objective lens, maaaybe a 48, depending on you handguard. Warne's website says the high rings will accommodate a 50mm objective lens, but this is only true on a traditional rifle where the receiver is higher than the barrel.

Aside from those two minor things, I don't think you can beat the price in terms of bare bones, high strength rings capable of holding zero everytime, regardless of the caliber you are shooting.

A little elbow grease can save you $80 to $100 on these cheep well built rings. Of course, you'll be lapping regardless of the rings you choose unless you go with Burris Zee rings with inserts. Thats if you care about your scope. I don't know, different strokes and to each their own.
