This eyepiece works wonderfully in my KOWA 88 spotting scope. I am sure it would be the same in the 99. Expensive, but a very nice piece of equipment.

Kowa TE-80XW 40x Wide Angle Eyepiece
I purchased this eye piece to use on a KOWA spotting scope. I had no idea it was a FIXED zoom of 35X. This may work for a photographer, but my use demands that I am able to zoom in or out depending on the situation. There is no information about this eyepiece being a fixed zoom unit in any of the promotional or detailed information. I must say that it did perform very well as an eyepiece except for the fact it allows for no zooming other than the 35 fixed zoom. It certainly felt like a quality piece of equipment. Kowa or Optics Planet should make sure buyers are aware this is a fixed zoom unit.
