Ok but not good

Bought 2 of these. One, triple mag and one, double mag. Both will fit Gen 3 PMAGs easily. Material is of good quality but The MOLLE is out of spec. The double was better than the triple but still messed up. I rate the double as good but not great and the triple as ok but not good. I returned both because neither was good enough. I specifically want MOLLE.

Geissele Ambi Posi-Snap Safety Selector
Selector will only install with the larger lever on the left side of rifle. The small lever is not long enough for easy operation if rife is in shooters left hand. If you want a left hand operating rifle choose a different safety selector.

Mag release is well made works ok but I found it wasn’t needed. Not hating on the product so much, it’s just a little gimmicky. With proper training it’s not needed. Spend your money somewhere else.

This bag comes WITHOUT fill. The bag only! Further more, I ordered one of the zip locks of fill offer by Grey Ghost Gear and it was not enough to make the bag useful. I’m not sure two bags of will be enough but maybe.

missing Mag Catch/Release

WARNING: this kit does NOT include a Mag catch/release. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Description says “no fcg and grip” but doesn’t mention the mag catch Is missing. Seams like an odd item to be missing.

Installed on a S&W and could not get the charging handle to slide past the end plate. Had to file down the top of end plate and make a flat spot. Most end plates have the flat spot already milled into the part. Caldwell, Not so much. But it’s cheap. Guess you get what you pay for.

Installed on a 10.5 barrel and works great. It projects blast forward away from shooter. 10.5 barrel with flash can also installed has roughly same amount of concussion as a 16” barrel with A2 bird cage. One problem is aesthetics. The notches/cutouts on the sides did not level out horizontally or vertically. Notches/cutouts are off center and looks funny. Would like much better if the notches/cutouts are excluded.

Clean and Accurate

Pitch and depth of threads are cut accurately. Threads are clean and free of defects. Will make cleaning almost a mess free project. Oil filter collected all of the cleaning fluids instead of dripping onto table.

Push button extreamly hard to operate.

Purchased front and rear. Both push buttons are very hard to press to release the spring loaded sights. This was even after high quality oil and use. Also the springs are not strong enough to positively hold the sights in the up position. Because of this, the sights lock in the up position and the almost impossible push button has to be pressed again to stow the sights in the down position.
