I recently picked up a 6" version but have an 11.5" and 10.5" as well and have these on 9mm PCC builds and 5.56 and 300BO builds. These are heavy duty built and have the anti-rotation built in. They come in almost every length you need and come with a section of m-lok picatinny for mounting bi-pods or flashlights. I prefer these over the BCM as the length is more accurately represented in extending the handguard out to a muzzle device, even though BCM comes in a close second for favorite handguards. I like the lock up of the Aero handguards, but this is better priced and just as if not better than the R-One models. The barrel nut lock up is a "pin" plate that is sandwiched between the sides, and despite the simple design is fully secure. Midwest Industries has a good reputation for making quality parts so you can't go wrong buying one. Comes with crows-foot style wrench for barrel nut.
