Great Bipod

I own several Harris bipods and have found them to very solid and reliable. They are well made and the design is excellent. I bought this one to mount to my Choate stock on my Savage 110 Tactical. I also have one on my Ruger SR762 and my Savage 112 Varmint in .223. I shoot mostly off the bench and they are fast to deploy and easier to use than sand bags.

Excellent Stock

I purchased this stock to replace the factory stock on my Savage 110 Tactical rifle in .308. The rifle dropped right into the stock with no problems. I like the clearance on the barrel. It leaves plenty of space to float and keep the barrel cool. Choate was quick to answer my questions about this product as I had some doubts about the fit for my older model Savage.
The only thing that I found that I didn't like was the stippling on the stock is very rough. I contacted Choate again, and they advised me that the material could be treated like wood and a light sanding would smooth out the stippling.
