Review for SilencerCo Glock Threaded Barrel

Fast shipping and careful packing. Came covered in some kind of protective film that came off easily with hoppes 9 solvent. Smooth external finish and clean, polished barrel rifling. Accurate out to 25 yards (indoor range limit). No complaints.

I've had this barrel for a few months with a few thousand rounds through it now and I had initially taken off 1 star for what I perceived to be a slight lack of refinement. I need to correct this misgiving in perception and state without prejudice that this barrel is simply fantastic - five stars. It is very accurate, at least as accurate as the original Glock barrel, if not more accurate at 15 and 20 yards. Mine is a gem.

Other reviews indicated the set screws bottomed out before they could effectively clamp down on the barrel threads. I have that exact issue with my fde full size model. I fixed the issue by adding a #6 stainless lock washer to each screw. Performance is excellent- helps to produce much tighter rapid fire groups than without it. I recommend it.

Good Budget Barrel

Well made, tolerances about as tight as OEM Glock barrel. On initial inspection, the rifling (traditional land and grove) seemed a little rough - not as polished as other barrels I have. Accuracy was a little off for the first 30-50 rounds. Accuracy is improving with use and it is now just as accurate as my gen 5 glock barrel as long as I do my part. I took off one star for the sub-premium finish but 5 star for value and performance. Very happy with it.
