Great magazines for Berettas
Written on Feb 11, 2025
As Mec-Gar used to actually produce the factory mags for some Beretta models and what it produces today as aftermarket for Beretta and others are of excellent quality, so for an alternate Beretta 92/M9 magazine these are hard to beat. As I do with any new magazine, it'll get the torture test, but I've yet to have had any issues with Mec-Gars as I've had with some others.

What I think every Beretta 92 needs

Review for
Beretta 92F/96F Steel Replacement Parts Kit
I'm one of those types wherein I do understand some of the corners cut for mass production, but sure glad these are still available. I have other hybrid firearms wherein I'm now ok with the incorporation of the HDPE parts, grip frames, etc. as they were purchased as such and work rather well, but to me a Beretta 92/M9 must remain true to form. The kit is easy to install with no hiccups and I feel better. Yes I'm old... Ha!
Nod to Optics Planet as well for having one as they have been hard to come by for my latest Beretta purchase from last year. I started poking around again in January and found that Beretta along with other suppliers were out of stock. Checked here and they had one left at the time and I snagged it. Now the price has increased and seems I managed to get a great deal on a couple of items deal. Highly recommended!

Excellent PC Carbine brake
Written on Jan 19, 2025
I studied a bit on which one to purchase for the new PC Carbine as there are many options, but elected to go with Ruger factory issue and turns out to be a solid choice. The different design is noticeable at the range as opposed others I've used on other rifles. If nothing else it is indeed high grade manufacturing as opposed to some others around, and looks to be right at home on the new Ruger.

Another great Franklin Armory Binary
Written on Jan 19, 2025
Review for
Franklin Armory BFSIII PC-C1 Binary Triggers
This is the 3rd Franklin Armory trigger I've purchased, with this one being for my new PC Carbine. The others were for a 10/22 build along with another for an AR-15 setup. Simple engineering designs and if one is familiar enough with working a bit on trigger sections these are fairly easy to install and add a new dimension to getting that big grin on your face at the range. One suggestion to test binary mode post installation is to rack a magazine loaded with snap caps and cycle through the action a few times to ensure fire on pull/release of the trigger to test functionality as opposed to the range and live ammo. This also helps the new installation settle in a bit without being subjected excess force if there should be an issue. Have fun!
