Just what I needed to upgrade my maverick 88

I purchased a 18.5" Mossberg Maverick 88 from Academy a few months ago. I intended for it to be a home defense/beater shotgun. As it goes, like many other things I own, I couldn't leave this without some "personalization".
In order to upgrade the forend on a Maverick 88 with a 18.5" barrel, you'll need to purchase a 7.75" action slide tube assembly and nut. This kit includes both and was cheaper than anywhere else I looked. Installation was a little annoying since I wasn't familiar with shotgun receiver assemblies, but after a few youtube videos and some patience, I was able to remove the factory pinned forend and replace it with this action slide tube.
The product itself was packaged well and didn't have any nicks or scratches. The threads on the tube were smooth without any binding or grit.
