My 5th Vortex product whether scope or red dot.After reading a couple negative reviews on the Huey I said to myself being extremely pleased with my for other Vortex products how could this Optics have that type of issues. I think all agree it is built like a tank and has a fabulous field of view. You have to work with it in three regards to get Peak Performance first find The Sweet Spot on your rail, second the background colors and the distance from the front of the optic will all make it vary in reticle definition. Thirdly is differences in your own eyes whether they're 20 20 or whether you wear whatever kind of glasses or have an astigmatism and also the brightness level you have the Huey set to. If you work on all these parameters you'll find out it is very Superior and you can get the reticle down to very fine line without any overpowering brightness and see the triangle
