Great range finder.

Written on Feb 17, 2018

This is a very nice range finder. Easy to use. The thing I like best is it comes with the tripod mount adapter built in, all the other high-end range finders either didn't allow the use of a tripod, or they made you buy an adapter for an additional $80. The only negative thing I have found with this is the optics do have a slight bluish tint, but not significant enough to effect image quality much.

Great spotting scope.

Written on Jan 14, 2018

I am very pleased so far with this scope. I haven't had this out to the range yet but I did test it a bit and this is what I have found. The clarity and detail look sharp all the way from 20x up to 60x magnification. I didn't notice any chromatic abberation or image distortion. The magnification and focus dials are smooth and fluid. I was viewing objects over a mile away with quite amazing clarity. No you will not be able to see bullet holes on paper targets at 1000 yards but I have no doubt you could see them on a painted steel target at that range. Overall I really don't think you will find a better spotting scope than this for under 1000 dollars.
