Beyond Disappointing

I installed this just as instructed by the budget instructions it came with. I took it to the range and had what some other users are reporting. It would fire one round then I would have to manually reset the trigger. I took it to the gunsmith at the range he inspected the trigger and said yes I put it in right but he said there's just something wrong with this trigger because he had the same experience that I had. He advised me to return it and either good an OEM replacement (which I did) or throw this in the trash. Luckily Optics Planet has a hassle-free return policy. I returned the trigger to OpticsPlanet and am awaiting my refund. For $100 plus dollars what a waste of time and money. Timney should stick to Bolt Action Rifle triggers.

So far I've had no problems with it. I'm sure the metal on the striker is much better than the stock mass produced ones.

LaRue Tactical MBT-2S Trigger
If you want a high quality established two-stage trigger then this is what you need. It's a two-stage trigger and has clean brakes on both stages. Much better than the USGI trigger.

I like this because it's a drop in assembly and I have more confidence with it. I've had some shipping delays with optics planet but they refunded shipping fees so I see that as good business. I was kind of frustrated with the shipping delays but they refunded the shipping that I paid extra for.

Haven't used it yet but if it's anything like my other acogs they're top-notch and accuracy is amazing. Surprised me.
