nice highly visible sights

I ordered these for a higher visibility set of sights. They are great sights and your eye is really drawn to the front sight. However if I were to do it over I’d get the version with tritium in the rear sight as well. In low light it’s harder for me to line them up. I contacted xs and they want almost $100 for the rear sight alone so do yourself a favor and go on and get the tritium front and rear. Still good sights, but I’ll probably just order the set I want and swap them out.

It’s a gas tube and it nitrited. I saw a torture test on these and they last a little longer than stainless steel but not so long you might damage your barrel. I doubt I ever shoot that much at one time anyway.

The battle arms development enhanced bolt catch is a definite upgrade over the tiny mil spec original bolt catch if you don’t want to go with a magpul bad lever. The angles it extends are helpful in both releasing the bolt as well as holding the bolt open if you need to.

noticeably lighter

I purchased this striker to go with the other Ed brown products I purchased for my m&p and I’m not disappointed. This striker combined with an apex trigger is very light and smooth. It’s definitely lighter than the apex trigger alone. If I was going to install it in a carry gun I might add heavier springs to the apex trigger and try different combinations.

nice sight

The holosun 507c acss green is a nice sight. Well designed, well built. Torture test videos show that it can take some abuse. Unfortunately I had to exchange it for red because of my astigmatism. It bloomed and distorted, had double chevrons way more than the red to my eyes no matter what brightness level I set it at. The red is clear and sharp to my eyes.

nice hp bullets

Nice 124 grain hp bullets and a good price. Only downside is that in the box I got only had 499 bullets in the box. They loaded fine with no issues that I could see. The pictures look like they expand good.

It looks about the same as all the other melonite gas tubes. There are videos showing melonite gas tubes lasting a little longer with high heat so If you need that then these are for you. Comes with a roll pin where some others don’t. Installation is simple and gas flows like it should. I would definitely buy it again.
great upgrade

This is a good upgrade over the stock bolt catch, especially if your don’t go with the magpul bad lever. Both the ability to release the bolt and even more to catch the bolt with the battle arms bolt catch are greatly improved. Install is fairly simple, just make sure you have a long punch with you care about your rifles finish.

smooth solid charging handle

Well built solid smooth charging handle for an LR308/AR10. It feels almost as good as the geissele charging handle I also have. It’s easy to grip and pull back with either hand on either side. It clears the scope to get a good grip on it. I went from a strike industries to this one and the raptor feels quite a bit better.
Very Good handgun sights

Easy to install and look great. Tritium is as bright as any other Tritium sights. The fiber optic picks up light very well. It really stands out when you’re outdoors and it pretty good indoors as well. I added the orange ring to the front sight and it really pops now. I might try the other colors to find the best combination for me.
