GPO scopes are GREAT, but…
I bought this as my first GPO scope. Then bought 4 other GPO models. Would I buy this one again for the right rifle…absolutely! This scope is fantastic if, you are shooting a caliber with recoil like 6.5 Creedmoor or lower. Why? Eye relief. It is under 3” at best. Due to this you will need to mount on a pic rail to get it close enough to your eyes. GPO single dot illumination is best in class! Parallax adjustable (down to 10 yards) on a 12x scope…unheard of and the reason I bought it. If you have heavier calibers, or just want longer eye relief, buy the 2.5-15x44 or 3-18x44. Long eye relief on these. Wouldn’t recommend 2.5x15x50 as it is just a heavier and longer version of the previous 2 mentioned. Other than that, nothing wrong with it. Bottom line, you cannot buy better scopes under $1000…period!
