Perfect for low light conditions and bright days as well. Absolute darkness is the only time these sights are difficult to see.

This is my favorite training range ammo for my revolver. I appreciate the fact that i am not being exposed to lead in either the primer or the bullet. It is not suitable in my semi auto pistol as the bullet is too light. But for what it is as a low cost exo friendly training ammo it works great.

Trijicon Bright & Tough SA15 Night Sights for Smith&Wesson .40 w/ Long Rear (Novak LoMount)
Sights are bright and an improvement over the factory sights. The outer ring is great for picking up in the daylight and the tritium at night is fairly good to pickup. The dots are pretty small to pick up but that my just be my older eyes. I recommend getting green front and yellow rear. Works to distinguish front from back quickly and yellow picks up almost as easily as green. I used a gunsmith to install them.
Tough sight

Fits perfectly. Makes the rear sight quick to align with the bright fiber optics. I'm pretty tough on my sights and I find the facory blades pretty delicate and easy to knock out of alignment. These rear sights are tough and easy to pick up.
strong and accurate

If you are like me you eventually smack your delicate stock blade sight into something catastrophically. This is an easy way of adding a rear sight that will stand up to some punishment and still hopd true. If you aren't like me and don't accidentally smack into things with your read sight then you will appreciate the high visibility fiber optics that direct your eyes quickly to a sighting solution.
