I used to run milspec angles then I tried my buddies k2. Now I have to swap out all my pistol grips for k2 or mod 3 grips for that increased grip angle. Do your wrist a favor and give it a break. I ordered a mod 3 to compare but im sure both are fine. Magpul is supreme with color and quality. However this fits incredibly snug (almost too tight) on aero/psa/s&w lower recievers.

honestly magpul can do no wrong. Fits snug as a bug on milspec, je machine tech, and and precision weapon systems buffer tube. Color choices galore. Got plenty of sling mounting options. Go with magpul... every time. Period.

Fit and finish is nice. Easy to install as most 870 parts are (note you'll need to get rid of your mag tube dent). My only complaint is the follower. Its plastic. Its dumpy. Buy a GG&G or Phase 5 follower. I would pay extra $ if this kit included a better follower.

Snug fit with SBM4

I bought this to use with a SBM4 i had laying around. Yes I know the SBA4 is far superior but this pistol tube added some extra pull to the brace. Im a smaller guy but still prefer about 2-3" of space between the backside of the reciever and the front of the brace. This collar worked perfect for spacing. And the sbm4 was very snug. Not to mention spikes tactical has phenomenal products. I have their buffer spring and st-t3 buffer weight inside. Pew pew

subtract a star because the "ratcheting system" isn't worth the premium in my opinion. I have a magpul qd endplate that uses a mil spec castle nut. I prefer the magpul in both fit and finish over this product (but magpul runs about $3 more) with that being said this one does do the job and the finish is nice. Honestly all these qd endplates are over priced though.

Buy one in every color

seriously cannot say enough about this pistol brace. The comfort and fit is great. The color is awesome and its SB Tactical. Upgraded from an SOB brace that I wasnt a fan of but I had to give SB tactical another chance. I've already ordered one in grey. I'll be grabbing a black and fde variant once the sales come back
Good fit and function awful durability on the coating

let's start with the good. Fitment and funtion are good. Easy installation... well if the tool included actually fit. Packaging left alot to be desired. Came with over complicated instructions in a ziploc baggie. Obviously Hyve has some outstanding color choices. But the coating is not durable at it was already scratched once I received it. Of course I blame the VERY subpar packaging. But come on this is a base of a magazine I expected to enjoy the finish for atheist a few weeks. If you drop this on reloads it'll scuff and scratch and ding
