I shouldn't have to file a part to make it fit.

Meprolight Sights for Ruger Pistol Models
I bought this to replace a worn sight that the black had worn off. The price point was close enough to the Ruger red ramp replacement so I thought I would give it a try.
I have the HiViz Litewave Sight on the other pistol so I thought I would go with a night sight on this one.
I tried this sight on both of the GP 100s that I own. No go. I was going to send it back for a replacement until I read the reviews. Seems like everyone here had to file it to fit. So here I am covering the bright areas I had to file with a sharpie.
Unless you really need a night sight I would go with the HiViz Litewave Sight instead. Better fit without modification and better in daylight

Magpul RSA Rail Sling Attachment
A low profile, simple way to mount a strap without worrying about swivels. I used this with a Magpul Paraclip to mount my Viking Tactical strap to the foreend of my AR. Used it hunting and this whole set up worked well for me.

A secure quick connect to mount a strap to an AR. The locking mechanism prevents accidental quick connects. I used this with a Magpul RSA Rail Sling Attachment to mount my Viking Tactical strap to the foreend of my AR for a low profile mount without swivels. I bought two of these but I was unable to use it on the stock of my Magpul PRS stock
Used it hunting and this whole set up worked well for me.

Millett 4-16x50mm Tactical Rifle Scope

Millett 4-16x50mm Tactical Rifle Scope
Put the scope on my new Ruger 556 VT. First time I shot this gun with this scope I was on paper at 100 yards. One adjustment and I was on target all day.
The mil dots are very useful to calculate hold over for distance, if you do your homework and have an idea of your particular round ballistics. I was consistently hitting iron out to 400 yards, some at 500 which is more about the shooter than this rig. A bipod will probably remedy this, since I was shooting prone off a ammo box.
Compared with the scopes of those I was shooting with; the Millett scope was as clear as more expensive scopes. The parallax adjustment helps bring everything in sharp focus.
I would buy this scope again; I wished I didn't replace the scope on my 243 earlier this year or it would also be wearing on of these Millett scopes.
