THE BEST FOR CQB / VBSS
Written on Jul 05, 2023
Ran this on the front of my plate carrier, then a HSG mini map pouch. This is the MOST SLIM MAG CARRIER OUT THERE!! Holds bangs, smokes, single stack pistol mags, initiating systems, if it fits it'll hold it in place. Being slim is underrated if you expect to be in any tight spaces. Perfect for the ship. Go ahead and get the stackable version even if you don't think you'll need it. Owned for 4+ years, deployed with it, and it's still holding strong. Mags can be hard to pull out at first so leave some pmags in then for a bit. Gets better with use.

Buy a viking tactics sling instead
Written on Jul 05, 2023
Marines use these slings because they're forced to. My unit was given the option to use personals. All the team leaders had viking tactics slings. I'll never go back to a vickers. Blue force gear makes the best mag pouches, however.

Review for
Blue Force Gear Vickers 2-to-1 Padded Sling, RED Swivel Version w/Nylon Adjuster and Hardware
These are issued in the usmc. When they get a bit dirty they're hard to adjust. When you've been carrying your rifle for a while, they chafe fast. Buy a vikings tactics sling, they are superior for equal or less money.

Perfect for operators and EDC

Review for
Vertx SOCP Sling Bag
I wore this mostly as a nut ruck and it was perfect. I've recorded jumps with it, and used it to record targets on surveillance missions. If you're doing any navigation, releasing the flap for your phone is very useful. Touch screen worked great through the plastic. Great for quick map checks. I've used it as an IFAK when conducting limited scale raids. The ability to open up the bottom portion of the pack allowed me to pack all the med gear I needed. Also makes room for most EDC pistols. In short, I've deployed with it, worn it to week long trips at Disney land and camping trips, owned for 3+ years now and it's still in perfect shape. Pricey, but money well spent.
