Good magazine, great price.

Written on Jun 29, 2019

Living behind enemy lines in a blue state, I wanted a full-size mag to train with but could only have 10 rounds in the mag (think of the children...smh). These magazines are perfect for training reloads from first or second line gear and are easy to disassemble. So far (couple thousand rounds), I've had zero feeding or seating issues with the magazines. They're tough enough to take repeated drops onto concrete and show hardly any signs of wear. As another user mentioned, it's very easy to remove the 10-round block and convert this to a 30-round magazine by installing a 30-round spring, should you ever find yourself in a free state or rule-of-law goes down the tubes. The only small negative is that they're not as easy to load as pmags, imo. The rounds get hung up on the feed lips from time to time while manually reloading. Not a big deal; just a little annoying.

Easy seat with full 35 rounds on closed bolt.

Written on May 22, 2019

Installation is a snap and this is a true +5 rounds (you don't have to stand on the last round to get it in). I was very pleasantly surprised to discover how easy it was to seat a full 30+5 round magazine on a closed bolt. So much so, I initially thought my bolt was open until I checked the chamber and saw the bolt forward. No feeding issues either. Ran multiple full mags with cheap surplus stuff and not one hiccup. These are a no-brainer upgrade to your load out.

Excellent for 12-o'clock mount on SBR or AR pistol

Written on May 02, 2019

Like the other reviews have stated, it is indeed very bright (a bit too much for pistol use imo). Build quality seems excellent and stands up to AR recoil just fine (not a big ask). What I really like about this light is the position of its switches and their pressure function (hold for momentary and quick tap for constant). Absolutely perfect at the 12-o'clock position on the front of an 11" rail (12.5" barrel). Super easy to manipulate the pressure switches with either thumb so switching from strong side to support side poses no problems for light activation. The 12-o'clock position works great around barriers as you get no splash back from the light regardless of which shoulder you're shooting from (think 3-o'clock mount with gun on left shoulder clearing a doorway or wall corner). You also don't need to worry about light clearance when shooting over cover (e.g car hood) or through openings. Also very nice to not need an additional pressure switch or have to monkey with another light mount. My front BUIS is mounted directly behind the light and doesn't interfere with switch manipulation in the least. Light is pretty low profile and doesn't disrupt sight picture at all.
