I was trying to complete a retro carbine look(xm177e2)and trying to avoid sbr bs.I figured I'd try this,although its not really authentic,it kept the 16" covered 4"of the barrel and is a decent muzzle break and looks great!!

I needed an m loc forend for my adams arms piston ar15 base agency to replace the crappy factory ones.I didn't want to spend 100+ dollars and wanted to keep it simple without breaking the bank.This handguard is one of the few that works with a piston ar without modification,rock solid and looks great

easily mounts without removing buffer tube,just remove the stock and slide it up on the buffer tube,butt to the end plate and tighten the pinch screw.it provides solid mount for a single point sling,left or right,also would work for a 2 or 3 point sling
