Good Looking, Accurate barrel with a fatal flaw.

Received the barrel well-packed. Finish was nice and it was very attractive. Installed in OEM Ruger receiver and headed to the range. Experienced tons of failures to feed; with rounds even becoming bent in the chamber. Some ammo was worse than others (CCI Standard Velocity was the worst). The breechface was covered with slivers of lead from the rounds. Never got more than 4 rounds to feed in a row with any of 3 kinds of ammo. re-installed factory barrel, and had no problems with feeding.
Upon inspection, the chamber had a sharp burr around the opening. I could have probably fixed it by kissing it with a chamfer, but for the price it should not require that. Returned and bought a Green Mountain, which feeds perfectly.

Fantastic Accuracy

Bought this a couple of years back, but hadn't got to shoot it until now when Ammo became available in my area.
Built into a Mega thermal-fit upper with an Aero BCG and gas system, KAK handguard, and a Burris 4.5-14x42 scope.
Took 3 rounds to zero .75" high at 50yd, 2 more to confirm zero at 200yd, then stretched to 300, 400, 500, and 600 using Hornady Black factory ammo. All hits were right on the money and a piece of cake. Was able to headshot a full-size ram steel at 400 with a single shot, Also hit a 5" square steel at 400yd on the first shot.
Definitely shooting sub-MOA right out of the box. So accurate, it's boring.

The machining and design looks nice, but the area forward of the ejection port and behind the barrel nut are not Mil-Spec dimensions.
As such, if you have a handguard with anti-rotation tabs or wraparound design, it may not fit. Some may see this as a "feature" because it's thicker where it supports the barrel extension, but compatibility with Mil-Spec dimensions is more important, I'd think.
