I'm not an experienced rifleman and I was expecting to spend some time at the range to get this dialed in. I put the Mark 6 on a Larue single piece mount. Leveled it with my iPhone and torqued it to spec. Mounted it to my LWRC REPR .308 and headed to the range. I didn't bother bore sighting and took the first shot on paper at 50 yds. 5 inches low and 1 inch right. Adjusting the correct number of 0.1 mil clicks and the second shot was in the x9 ring. Moved the target out to 100 yds and sent a group of 3. One more adjustment and it was all x10 ring from there.
The pinch ring feature for adjusting/locking elevation is awesome . The parallax adjustment is a nice feature. The scope just worked GREAT. I was able to place 3 rounds touching in the x10 ring and declare that a zero. Push in the pins and reset the elevation collar for my new zero. first time I shot the rifle and first time with the scope too.
Next up... practice my hold overs with the reticle, which is specific to the .308 round. Wish my indoor range was more than 100 yds!
