If you have done any research you will definitely find reviews on this Stock being extremely tight on milspec tubes. Well, they ain't a lyin'. Wow! I went ahead and bought it anyways despite all the reviews on how tight it is. I must say I should have heeded the warnings out there. Now, don't get me wrong, this thing is a beauty and I can see why it's predecessor was such a success and was selected by Special Ops for their rifles (I'm talking about the Enhanced SOPMOD with the storage tubes). It is extremely comfortable to use and creates terrific cheek weld but you better get ready because it goes on TIGHT. I found the easiest way to work it in was to wrap sandpaper around a broom handle and cram this thing on and start working it back and forth. It is not easy but once you break it in it is a great stock but be warned.

Obviously when someone talks about triggers you cannot talk without bringing up Geissele. I was about to begin my first attempt at a DIY lower and I wanted it to have the best of everything. I reviewed so many triggers out there that I had created a case of paralysis through analysis. During this time I ordered a pistol and had it shipped to my FFL guy and when I went to pick it up we got to chatting about my new build. He set me onto this trigger and I could not be happier or more thankful. It is truly an awesome trigger. Light pull, quick reset, flat face, it's great!! Will use this trigger on every future build I do.

This is a terrific enhanced trigger guard. Fits tight with no wiggle and matches my Mega Lower quite well. My one ask is that magpul do what a lot of other enhanced trigger guard makers are doing and build in the roll pin to hold it in place. Would make for a lot easier installation but hey, this is me "trying" to find something wrong. In reality there are no issue with this product.

I really like this handguard. It makes for an extremely lightweight package on a keep it simple stupid rifle. The slim design allows for easy manipulation of the rifle. I have read that it runs hot since it is so slim and close to the barrel but I did not find this to be an issue. I ran 70 rounds through my AR with this handguard within 30 minutes and did not feel any discomfort. If you plan on just pumping 30 rounds mags as fast as you can then I could see this being an issue but a shooter could just use gloves in that scenario.

One minor complaint I have is that it doesn't allow for any attachments directly under the handguard (like a bipod for example) so that is something I would have liked to have seen B5 incorporate into the design. I think if you have a lightweight handguard then it makes more sense to allow for more attachments since you have saved weight in the beginning. Just my 2 cents.

BCM makes fantastic products. I run their recce upper mid-length and love it. I also have their stock and their charging handles. I like to build around Mega lowers and use BCM for everything else. This grip has a nice feel to it. I wouldn't worry about reviews stating that the grip is thicker than the MOD 1 and 2. I have average size hands and it fits great. One thing to keep in mind is that this grip DOES NOT work with enhanced trigger guards. I had to saw off the front part to fit with a magpul enhanced trigger guard. This is no fault of BCM of course. I just didn't do my homework for purchasing.

Low price for a very high return. Very easy and quick manipulation of the Bolt Catch. I have this on all my AR's. Installation is also a breeze and anyone can do it. Also a great safety feature as you can aim at your target without a round in the chamber, and then once you are ready simply activate with your index finger and you are ready to go!
