(Disregard previous review) The threads are very tight, so much so I thought this GrovTec mag cap QD socket would not thread properly onto the magazine tube of a new 590 shockwave. But after being able to thread it on by hand with lots of force on an older 590 blued mag tube I decided to apply some grease and work the threads gripping the cap with a pair of players wrapped in tape onto the new annodized tube. It worked and the threads loosened a little in the process. This cap is the way to go to mount a QD swivel on the short shockwave/14” 590 SBS frontends that do not have room for the magpul clamp style sling mounts. It is also ambidextrous without having to move the QD socket attachment point or reversing a GG&G sling plate (the kinda that fits between the mag cap and barrel lug). the sling just rotates around the bottom of the cap on the QD swivel to the other side. Most importantly this QD sling mount keeps low enough on the gun to keep the sling out of the way of a light mounted in an offset canteliever mount (HL-X in a mount-n-slot canteliever or Arisaka MLOk side mount) on the side of the slide with a magpul foregrip.

Overwatch Precision has got this figured out, the thing I would like to add in addition to the feature listed is how refined and tactile the inner trigger safety feels over the Apex trigger shoe. Also the NP3 coated gen 3 (no bump) trigger bar is like a 2k round broke in feel right out of the box. Superb product, now to outfit the stable...
