This is an OK offset sight set for an AR 15 in 556. It has the distant shot thumb wheel. I bought this because it’s inexpensive. What I don't care about the rear sight is that it seems sloppy. I own two of these sight sets. One is a little more precise than the other, but not by much. I used the tighter one for my 556 and discarded the other one for my 300 Blackout. The thumb wheel would be useless on the 300 Blackout. I purchased the Leapers UTG ACCU-SYNC Offset Deployable Rear Sight for the 300 Blackout. I’m still waiting for delivery. The Leapers cost more than this sight set.

I bought this charging handle because someone compared it to the Strike Industries charging handle. I thought for the money why not give it try. The packaging does say that it is made in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. I don't think that other countries cannot manufacture as good a quality product as the United States, but I live in this country, why not support it?

For comparison purposes the latch on the Strike Industries is longer and is made of aluminum. The Rise Armament charging handle latch is made of steel. The full SI charging handle and latch weighs 33 grams and the full RA charging handle and latch weighs 41 grams. A stock charging handle is all aluminum and weighs 31 grams. The roll pin on the RA is larger so you can't swap out the latch without enlarging the hole on an aftermarket latch. That said, the RA is a quality product with a lifetime manufacturing warranty.
