This is a remarkable bargain. Pay attention to the spec.... It doesn't say water proof or resistant and boy howdy is that correct. The innards are open to the elements. The edge of the lens isn't sealed. Just a little exposure to rain will trash the sight let alone a minor dunking. This might be perfect for outdoors in arid climes but watch the weather and creek crossings. The sight seems not to have a spring loaded elevation and wind-age transition/adjustment mechanism. Turn the adjust and the sight pic doesn't change. You have to "push" the frame to the side and the pic changes. I have no trouble doing it this way and I assume mine is proper made.
