I have never owned or used a spotting scope so when i decided to purchase one i was not sure which one would be suitable or from whom to purchase it.
Having previously purchased a number of pairs of binoculars from Optics Planet and receiving first class advice and service i turned to them for help.
After ascertaining what i wanted to use the scope for and what my budget was they gave me a number of scopes to consider.
I didn't get past the Konus Konuspot 20-60 x 100 after looking at its specs and reading the numerous positive reviews.
After taking the plunge i placed my order and didn't have long to wait before the well packaged order arrived on my doorstep.
This is where i have to declare that i am not a hunter or a particularly avid naturalist but i live in an apartment with splendid 360 degree views including mountains and city landscapes which i enjoy viewing through my binoculars. I wanted a scope to see more detail at distance and boy i was not disappointed. The Konus 20-60 x 100 scope lived up to all of the positive reviews that i had read. I really cant thank the staff at Optics Planet enough for their fantastic customer service and advice.
I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone that wanted a low price scope that delivers, in my humble opinion, a first rate viewing experience.
