The Evolution 8 has a perfect combination of features. The on-board battery and built in wi-fi are crucial additions. These features and the robust mount make the price premium over other 8" scopes more than reasonable. This is a quality, well made product delivered in robust foam and thick cardboard packaging. Optics Planet offered the best price available. Make use of their offer to discuss prices with one of the sales reps either by phone or chat. The standard free shipping was fast and more than adequate. Everything about the transaction was great, the product is excellent,...couldn't be happier.

Nice addition to my Glock 42

Fit and finish are great. The laser was easy to install and does not add much bulk to the gun. Crimson Trace makes quality products and this is no exception. The price at Optics Planet was the best I could find and they ship orders out very fast.
