New mdl python wilson sight, currently I think this is your best option. It's half and half lower contrast and smooth surface. You can add two white lines. Older style Python, no current white outline sight is available, why did Colt do this?

Light and green laser are very goog, not to wide of profile, mounting was very secure to pistol.

You may need to do some fitting. From the factory they should put the individual pieces in plastic wrap, the hard plastic can leave marks, easy to prevent. Good deep color. I wish the back of the stock would have also taken the original metal back plate for originality. Be careful fitting the top handguard around the gastube. sand, Dremel, very carefully so as not to crack it or take off to much, then its to loose. You don't want it rocking side to side. Be Patient, when trying to twist it on. The stock, also may have to have some shim stock, bottom side, cut some tin, aluminum to fit snug. Hold stock tight against receiver, then drill first hole. Wrap some towels around installed parts to prevent scratches, dents while installing

A very buy for the money. May need riser. Also If you where glasses , and or, they have bi-focals,
you need to look thru the top of your glasses to stay away from ghost images. The flip-up covers nice touch. Red - Green color covers all light conditions, light. low light, fog. Very good for QCB.( Close Quarter Battle)… Can't beat those QD mounts. Your eye distance form sight determines circle size....

These type mounts can always offer a challenge. The actual mount on the gun can vary, Side mounts for Ak's can be somewhat different from manufacturers. The actual mount can also be slightly different when it comes to clearance's.
This one I just got matting to a Riley AK was pretty snug took a couple of on and off's and a touch of filing.
Depending on how tight a fit , how often you have the mount on and off the gun will or may influence using a drill thru securing set screw , or one just against the mount. I put it where I can get at it, don't make it gaudy, think functional and clean.

This item is very versatile, Green laser is somewhat more intense but a bit more money. red works well, depends on application. . Light very bright 400 lumens. Both have cords with micro-switches. You have two options, QD for mounting, excellent. You want to order a QD 45 degree mount foor side, top, options depending on your optics clearance.

Kensight AK Fiber Optic Font Site Post Insert

Received this sight last week, Went to install, no tools included, no instructions, for sight, or fiber optic stick installation, Tried to insert sight, one of the sides of the threaded portion snapped like a piece of glass.
I would not recommend this sight. INSTEAD....
A small piece of clear fuel line from RC planes fuel line, clean post with alcohol, cut 1/2 the length of the post. It fits snug, use tooth pick with the color of enamel you choose and carefully dab the right amount, not to much, two coats may be needed, leave clear tubing helps transmit light,
I am out 40.00 plus ship.....
