Installed smoothly on my Viper PST. Blends in neatly with the scope. Snaps shut and flips open easily without being displaced. Vortex has excellent customer service if you have any questions or issues. What more could you ask at a reasonable price point?

Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24 MRAD

Whether you prefer MOA or MRAD, this is a quality product with many useful features. The return-to-zero elevation turret and the Off positions on the illumination control have been reviewed extensively, but my favorite is that it is a true 1x scope. At that setting, it can be used like a red dot. Add an SV lever for easier magnification changes. Note that the PST with the metal magnification ring requires an SV-2.

The button design is simple but elegant. Mag release buttons with long extension levers may look cool, but tend to tilt and bind the button. That might be OK at the range, but I wouldn't want it to happen in a tense situation. The slanted top makes it easier for your finger to be on the button and also results in a slight forward push to overcome the inherent drag backward by your extended finger. It is very ergonomic. The result is smooth reliable operation. Try one.
