Will not provide 2 hrs on high

This is a pretty good flashlight with plenty of power, but it will not give 2 hrs of light at full power. On the high power setting it will more than light up a room. However, it is difficult to switch to low power. Operator mut be quick on the switch. On high, when battery is depleted, it will turn off but not slowly diminish light. In other words, there is no warning that you are about to go DARK.

I upgraded with Leupold for this in an illuminated model after Leupold could not fix my older tactical model. Its clarity is on par with my Schmidt Bender. At little cheaper price but not much.... Leupold and I had an email (evidence) trail of how my old model had caused issues from the beginning. They tried to fix it but gave up and offered me the above model in exchange (no money). However, my older tactical had an illuminated reticle. Leupold allowed me to upgrade for about 300 bucks. Best investment yet.

Good light but has some issues

They provide several adapters for a snug fit to your specific pistol. However, the one designed specifically to fit my pistol (XD) was flat but my XD's rail surface was slightly round. Therefore, even tightening the mounting screw as I could, the light would very slightly rotate. This would cause the laser to be off target. I ended up filing my pistol's curved surface to be flatter. The laser seemed to stay on target.
Also, the laser adjustment Allen heads are very difficult to adjust. They are TIGHT, and I was fearful of stripping an Allen wrench or Allen screw on the light. I pressed on and final got it adjusted.
Make sure Allen wrench isn't worn or you may strip something.
