Perfect size for Suppressed Rifle!

Review for
Voodoo Tactical 46in Padded Weapons Case
Optics Planet was awesome to deal with as usual! Needed a case big enough to carry my 18" AR-10 with scope and suppressor mounted and this Voodoo Tsctical bag fit the bill perfectly. Plenty of room for rifle and all accessories, mags, Ammo, cleaning kit etc. I like that it gives you options for how to carry it also; two sturdy padded carry handles or single detachable shoulder strap or double padded backpack style straps. Only gave 4-stars because the inside wasn't quite as padded as other bags I have but it provides adequate protection short of airport baggage handlers. 4 1/2 Stars for bag, 5+ Stars for Optics Planet!

Great case!

Being used to using nothing but pelican cases in the military, planned to get one of those initially...until I found out what they actually cost. A friend recommended this Plano case but I was skeptical about the quality considering the price. I also wanted the pluck foam so I could customize it for my new AR10 with all the accessories. Taking it out of the box, I was very impressed! Very rugged and well built case, plenty of padding to protect all my gear, very secure latches with nice tight lockup all around. Looks great too and not like some of the cheapo plastic cases I'd seen before. I don't really plan to travel by air with it but I'm sure it will hold up to the rigors of baggage handlers and weather. The wheels are great too! Even for loading/ unloading in my truck and transport to the range, being able to roll it sure makes it easier on my back! I am very happy with the quality of this case ESPECIALLY considering the price savings over a pelican. More than sturdy enough for my needs. We'll see how it holds up over time.

Get the Edge in Self-Defense and a GREAT Training Tool for Trigger Control Drills!
Written on Jul 14, 2015
FIRST let me say that no laser sight should ever take the place of learning and practicing good fundamental shooting skills using iron sights. Better yet, practice the rapid "point and shoot" technique that is the most likely real-world scenario to be encountered anyway. That said, the CT LaserGuard on my P938 is hands down the best, most reliable and instinctive laser sight on the market for quickly and accurately engaging threats. I've used many CT lasers on many firearms and never had one fail to operate and hold a perfect zero even after many many rounds down range. Invaluable as a training tool also! Have someone else load a mag for the shooter and replace a live round or two with a snap cap then shoot as normal. When the shooter gets to the dummy round in the string of fire, watching the movement of the laser dot will instantly and dramatically highlight any issues with anticipating recoil and/or trigger control.
I only gave it 4 stars because for me, I would like to have a master on/off switch and an external access battery compartment. I understand and generally agree with the KISS principle of the "always on" mode of the CT laser; however, from a tactical standpoint there may be times when you might not want to use a laser at all. Other than altering your normal shooting grip, the laser will always come on. For range work, the on/off switch would also be handy for saving battery life when practicing with iron sights, but a small piece of tape over the laser work

Sweet Holster for EDC!

Awesome holster! Very well made and rides perfectly for very comfortable concealed carry. Highly recommend! Do yourself a favor and buy yourself a matching Galco leather belt. Great combo and looks very classy to boot!
For easy break-in, wrap your pistol inside a thinner dress sock and press it firmly in place in the holstet and just let it sit that way a couple days. Makes for smooth drawing but maintains solid retention.
