Review for
Shaw AR-10 308 Winchester Threaded Barrel
I got my rifle reassembled with the new barrel and took it to the range to sight in. I first shot 2 light charged, bore conditioner/polisher bullets, with low expectations on there ballistic performance. To my supprize, they were within 1/2" of eachother and just 4" low.Then i just had 149gn fmj nato ammo to rough sight in with. Shot 3 in about quarter size group, 3" high 2" left,and i shot a couple more groups to get scope sighted in, but all were like quarter size groups, and all this at 100yards off the bipod of my rifle. I know thats nothing to wright home about, but compared to old barrel it was a major improvement. I still have a lot more trying it out to do tho.
Whats all the hype?

I mainly bought this scope because everyone has told me how great Sig scopes are, and don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the scope, its clear, bright, and all functions work properly on it. Just before i bought this scope, i bought a truglo scope of the same dimensions for sugnifficently less $, and i think the truglo has more eye relief, and its got light up crosshairs. but the Sig isn't a bad scope, just think there a little overpriced.
