great rail. Light, strong, beautiful color blue. Barrel nut is strong but having to shim and time for the gas tube is very annoying. Solid attachment, anti rotation tabs, not much else to say about it just need extra letters

rail is awesome, lightweight, looks nice, functional. Main problem is the barrel nut. Has to be timed perfectly because of the fins the gas tube has to fit between. PLEASE stop making barrel nuts like this. Copy Midwest industries and have no fins. All the fins do is cause problems. Broke my barrel nut wrench trying to torque it down for the 3rd time with different shims. Without the fins I would've been done after torquing it once and wouldnt have broken the tool and wouldn't have to wait another week before i can retry torquing it

Works great with my sig srd762 qd. Awesome design how they made it so there is an internal crush washer so you can tighten the mount down to spec, then time the brake to spec and not have to worry about twisting back and forth

Good light strong rail, has anti rotation tabs, anti rotation qd mounts, and strong mounting to barrel but. But the barrel nut is some terrible 2 piece design thing, you have to time it for the gas tube, have to time it perfectly for the rail retention screws which requires the bigger but to be loose and not even close to the upper, then there's no way to torque the smaller barrel but cause it's a 3/4 inch hex but, had to use a crescent wrench and hoped it's tight enough. Beware.

MADE DURING RECALL PERIOD

WARNING, DO NOT BUY. I ordered this optic in August, and the manufacture date was in october 2016, falling within EOtech's recall period. It is a good optic, but not worth the risk of thermal drift, delamination in the long run, etc. Having bought this in August, i was 3 months past the deadline for the recall to be able to return or replace the optic to eotech.

3rd Eotech I've owned. They are great. Precise, bright, durable, and good battery life. Got this for about 345 after the rebate and 12% discount. QD latch is solid, side buttons are perfect for use with magnifier, and being lighter and shorter than a 512 is always a plus.
