Troy it's a household name

Written on Jul 23, 2017

This is very nice hand guard for the price. The machining is high quality. Its extremely lite, it only weighs .620 lbs for a 13" hand guard not including the barrel nut. The inner diameter is 1.37" outer is 1.75" It does not come with a barrel nut and will attach to a standard ar-15 barrel nut. Make sure the barrel nut does not have groves on the outer housing. To be sure just order Troy standard ar-15 barrel nut listed here on Optics Planet. It comes with 3 rail attachments. Make sure you attach the rails before you mount the hand guard to your upper. The only con is having to take off the hand guard to move your rails around. It's easier this way. But the hand guard does come off easy with a few screws. hope this helps.

Best free float hand guard

Written on Sep 25, 2016

This is by far the best free float hand guard I have ever installed and used. 15 inch rail only 10oz with the barrel nut. Lantac makes the best Ar products. It is a bit pricier than most hand guards but the quality surpasses the competition.

MRO it speaks for itself

This is my 2nd Trijocon optic. The optic is fairly small and the objective is 25mm. I noticed the battery was already installed so I called Trijicon support and asked them if this was normal and they said that they started installing the battery from the factory. The optic is very clear and crisp. It does have a 1x magnification and the glass is slightly tinted. Trijicon has always made quality glass and I would trust my life with them. I am use to the 42mm objective on their RX34 site that I also have so i will have to train with this optic more than others. But if your use to the smaller objectives then I would recommend this optic it's fairly priced.

Best on market

Written on Aug 24, 2016

I've used 3 of these so far and they are the best low profile gas block on the market. They use 3 set screws on the bottom. I've been shooting with these for years and never had a problem with them. Also their hand guards are top notch made in American.

Very impressed

I think Aimpoint may be the new optic of choice. I've always used Trijicon until now i decided to try this sight. I took it to the range and couldn't believe how it preformed. After i got it sighted in, i can hit a dime 50 yards. Truly impressed with this sight. Never put cheap glass on your rifles like so many do.

nice sight

Written on Aug 23, 2014

Before I made this purchase I researched all the sights from Aimpoint to Eotech to Trijicon. This is my first major optic purchase. For some reason I was always coming back the Trijicon. When I received the sight I was very pleased with it. It's a really nice sight for not using any type of battery. Fit nice a snug clear and crisp visuals. It's decent sized very robust. It was very easy to sight in I just wished it didn't take an allen wrench to sight in.
