First off, don’t bother turning the mag above 35x or so, as clarity fails. This is to be expected in a spotter in this price range. That being said, I can make out 22lr impacts on steel at 500yds in good conditions. Centerfire impacts, no problem. I haven’t taken it further as of yet. This tactical spotter fill a much needed position in this price range for a reticle equipped piece. Personally I’d rather see it be a 10-30x but it’s not. It comes with a decent, live-in case and caps. The build quality seems sturdy and durable and the pic rails are handy for mounting accessories and a a small red dot for fast target acquisition There is a lot going on in the power/focus control area, but you get used to it. I’d buy it again for the sale price. Eventually I will get something with better glass but I’ll be shelling out a lot more cash.
