Great Idea

Written on Feb 17, 2024

I thought this was an awesome idea. After install, it seems pretty solid; did some quick reload drills and found it very useful. I recommend this foregrip; although it looks a little goofy, function>looks. I worry that the item is plastic, but if it breaks, I’ll be sure to post about it. More training will determine its durability. The FDE color matches my build and the magazine also doesn’t rattle when inserted into the holder, which is another plus. Processing was still slow from OP, as usual. Took about a week.

Good enough

These are decent. Cheap and solid. Only complaint is that the rear still wiggles a little bit. Maybe can change spring for detent. OpticsPlanet shipping is extremely slow.

FDE (Bronze) are perfect..the black ones though....

Written on Mar 08, 2023

It's odd, the two sets I own in FDE (Bronze color) look great and function really well; zero issues. I like these takedown pins more than mil-spec, they're definitely lighter, and the front pivot pin looks clean with how flush it lines up to the lower. The black ones I ordered though: garbage. Not sure if I got a bad set or what; the coating seems to be different and it rubbed off on the rear detent. I lubed them up before installing (the front works fine) but for some reason, the rear was almost stuck at first. I worked it in and it's going fine now but the coating on the inside where the detent slides is completely worn off and no longer black. This is definitely more of a Gucci/weight mod to the AR; ergonomically isn't all that much greater but they do stick out a bit more than my Aero Precision mil-spec ones so it's easier to push them through from the left side of the lower. V Seven are really expensive, these were a decent alternative. 7/10.
