Please see other reviewers questioning accuracy of description of product. Specifications said this had a mid-length gas system with a .081" gas port. and he model I received takes a carbine gas tube and the gas port is substantially smaller than .081. It looks like they have since changed the description to say carbine length gas system but haven't changed the specifications. The barrel they sent me definitely has a carbine length gas system. Given the importance of the barrel, kind of concerns me what else they got wrong. Hope they got the 5.56 part correct. I wouldn't buy again from this brand.

Not sure if there was a change in the slide on 2023 VP9s but this is clearly not made for these guns. The slide at the front of the rear sight angles down and in to to the dovetail and the factory sights make allowance for this angle and fit flush to the slide. The Trijicon sights do not and they will not fit flush with this angle on the slide. You can see from the picture the front of the Trijicon rear sight goes straight down. The factory sights have a cut to match this angle, these do not. I have had to grind the bottom of the Trijicon sights down substantially just to get them to slide under the angle of the cut of the slide, and then they still leave a noticeable gap. Big difference between how the factory sights fit and look compared to these. Good price at Optics Planet but pretty much a waste of money for a new VP9 in my opinion.
