Definitely well made! The first thing i noticed is the hook and loop is INSANELY STRONG! It takes a good bit of strength to pull it apart, ehich is a good thing in my opinion. The padding on the whoulders is pretty good and i won't need to be replacing them. Two complaints for me though. I'm 5'8" 190lbs, average athletic build and this thing is huge! I had to tighten the waist straps nearly all the way and the cumberbund almost to the point that the side plates overlap with the front plate. The shoulder straps are tightened all the way and it's still too loose. Speaking of side plates i have 2 steel 6×8 and they are definitely too big. The hook and loop will not connect around the plates. I'm going to have to figure out a way to rig it.
