Leupold Dual Dovetail DD Rings
These rings will require alot of lapping due to the MINIMAL contact of the top half of the ring.
After I got these aligned and began setting the scope in place, adjusting eye relief and level, something felt off.
I was getting a single contact mark on the scope right on top under the Leupold logo stamped into the top of the ring. So I used some chalk on the scope body to see exactly how much contact there was.
There were only two small points of contact on the top of each ring, front and rear directly under the logo.
So now in order to even use these rings without severely damaging my scope, I ordered a lapping kit. Hopefully I wont have ro remove to much material making the ring useless.
Shame on you Leupold!
